Aditi Anand

Biography

Aditi Anand is a second-year environmental engineering major from the Bay Area. She is passionate about using engineering and technology to meet real-world water and energy demands while minimizing resource strain. Her background in environmental advocacy (having been a youth leader of the Sunrise Movement) brought her to this field in which she hopes to apply her degree to address climate impacts. In the past she has interned at a data-based climate consulting company that assists companies with greenhouse gas reductions. She is currently part of the UCD Sustainable Solutions club, which is a civil engineering project team, and is the Research Lead of Cyclone RoboSub, the underwater robotics team at UC Davis. Aditi loves singing, reading, and biking through the gorgeous UC Davis Arboretum.
