Daniel Ortiz

Biography

Daniel Ortiz started as a freshman at UC Davis in 2024 majoring in Environmental Engineering, focusing on water utilization. He is currently working at a local church community and always tries to get involved in research opportunities revolving around my major.  His passion for using water for its greatest potential stems from my life experiences with nature and the environment. He loves the idea of using our greatest resource in new and effective ways, which is why he is a member of the American Water Works Association.  Daniel loves the food around Davis, the locals really know how to make some delicious meals! He also enjoys biking around the city year-round and enjoys the seasons change.
