Hang Trinh

Biography

Hang Trinh is a second year electrical engineering student who began her educational journey at UC Davis in 2024. She aims to apply her learning in the classroom to real world problems, particularly environmental challenges. The problem of water scarcity around the world (having experienced it herself while growing up in Vietnam) motivated her to join the Water Nexus Lab to contribute to the development of technologies and processes that help bring clean water to more communities around the world. Outside of the Water Nexus Lab, she is a scholar in the University Honors Program, a member of Formula Racing (an electric racecar design team), and an ambassador for the College of Engineering. She likes exploring the eateries in Davis as well as going on hiking trips to visit the beautiful trails that nature has to offer.
