Biography
Remi Fletcher is a Master’s student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Davis. He first joined the university as an undergraduate student in 2021 as an environmental engineering major and decided to continue pursuing the field at the graduate level in 2025.
During his undergraduate years, he worked as intern for an environmental consulting company in Sacramento where he gained practical field and office experience for a year. In 2023, he joined the Davis chapter of Engineers Without Borders where he applied his passion for water treatment related projects. Remi also spent a semester abroad in Paris where he immersed himself in French culture while working for the Paris Department of Ecological Transition and Climate Change and worked on the Seine Sanitation Project. He is passionate about solving potable water scarcity issues and the use of advanced treatment technologies
Outside of academics, Remi is an avid tennis player, a frequent visitor to Lake Tahoe ski resorts, and a wildlife photographer.
