Biography
Sahib Kaur is a 3rd-year Civil Engineering student who transferred from Woodland Community College and started her studies at the University of California, Davis in Fall 2025. Her interest in water resources began after interning at the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), where she worked with farmers to implement irrigation systems and improve soil conditions. Through her work, she saw how water challenges affected the lives of farmers. By doing research, she hopes to help develop strategies and technologies for water sustainability. At UC Davis, she is a member of Engineers Without Borders (EWB), where she works on projects that aim to improve water delivery to communities in need. She is also a member of AvenueE, a program designed to empower engineering students. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, painting, 3D printing, and exploring scenic trails around Davis.
